At present, if the customer wants to make the low-nitrogen transformation of the industrial steam boiler in use, there are three main measures:
1.Replace the boiler
It is better to choose a boiler that controls the generation of nitrogen oxides from the source. At present, the most advanced technology on the market is a gas boiler using full premixed combustion technology, which can precisely adjust the air-fuel ratio and control the generation of nitrogen oxides from the source.
2.Replace burner
The replacement, modification and commissioning of the boiler burner, and the resulting impact on the safety performance of the boiler, shall be the responsibility of the burner manufacturer or its authorized unit. However, the “Notice on Safety Risks of Low-Nitrogen Combustion Reconstruction of Boilers” issued by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision and the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau stated that: for boilers in use, it is not recommended to adopt a retrofitting method to directly modify the burner.
3. Flue gas treatment of the industrial steam boiler in use
The nitrogen oxides that have been generated are reduced to nitrogen by some means. At present, there are mainly fuel reburning, selective catalytic reduction, and non-selective catalytic reduction. However, in actual monitoring, the controllability of nitrogen oxide emissions is poor.
Technical advantages of condensing full premixed gas industrial steam boilers are:
(1) Through the full premixed combustion technology, strictly control the air-to-gas ratio, reduce the excess air factor, and make it difficult for nitrogen to react with oxygen;
(2) Its advanced low-nitrogen burner with metal fiber layer attached to the surface greatly reduces the flame height, narrows the high-temperature area in the combustion chamber, and can quickly escape from the high-temperature area after the smoke is generated, thereby allowing nitrogen Oxygen does not have enough energy to react.
The above are the related issues I have shared about the low-nitrogen transformation of industrial steam boilers. I hope it will be useful to everyone.
